Sophie and Spice Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

Sophie and Spice reserves the right to refuse any affiliate partner for any reason, which includes any sites promoting violence, sex, drugs, discrimination or illegal activities. We generally only approve websites or blogs having to do with babies, kids, moms, or decor.

Affiliate commission is 10% of any sale, not including shipping.

Payments are made 1 month after your commissions reach $25. Adjustments will be made for returned products or other adjustments to the customer's invoice (such as a rebate). Payments are made by check or via Paypal from Jill Pearson Illustration and Design, owner of Sophie and Spice.com. International affiliates are paid via Paypal only. All payments are made in US dollars. We are not responsible for exchange conversion fees.

Affiliates who reach more than $600 in commissions within one calender year will be required to submit IRS form W-9 before further commissions are paid. (Income over $600 legally must be reported to the IRS).

Affiliates are responsible for updating their profile to keep mailing addresses and other information current.

Marketing by way of spam e-mail or spamming web forums is prohibited. Any affiliate who participates in the use of spam to market our products will be disqualified from our affiliate program without notice and have their commissions withheld.

Affiliates are not permitted to use the meta tags "Sophie and Spice" or "Jill Pearson." Affiliates are also not allowed to purchase "Sophie and Spice" or "Jill Pearson" as keywords for Google Adwords or other pay per click advertising. Any affiliate that does so will be disqualified from our affiliate program without notice and have their commissions withheld.

Our affiliates are independent contractors, this program does not create any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative, or employment relationship between the parties. Affiliates will have no authority to make or accept any offers or representations on our behalf.
